Total renovation of 60 year building
Bredagergården was built in 1948 and consists of 70 apartments distributed across two blocks. A total renovation of the apartment buildings was commenced as the buildings had several internal and external flaws after 60 years. The external renovation included new balconies for all tenancies.
Balconies from BB fiberbeton
For this renovations project, BB fiberbeton delivered balcony solutions for multiple different balcony variants: facade balconies, roof top balconies, ground level balconies, and corner balconies, respectively. The balcony elements are mounted with embedded steel brackets and embedded inserts with plugs. The elements were executed in the colour BBf no.04 light grey, and the balcony parapet elements and soffit elements were coloured in BBf no.01 standard white. Furthermore, we delivered steps with a non-slip pattern in the colour BBf no.04 light grey.

GRC is made of white cement and fine aggregates and reinforced with glassfibre. Elements are produced using a special spray-technique that allows for a low water/cement-ratio, a low thickness, and a high strength.
