A multifunctional landmark in Bratislava combines transport, retail, and rooftop experiences behind a textured GRC facade.

Located in Bratislava’s growing New Nivy district, Nivy Station combines a bus terminal, shopping centre, and social spaces within one multifunctional complex. Designed by Benoy, the project features a large rooftop oasis with cafés, playgrounds, event spaces, and relaxation areas — creating a new urban destination for the city.

BB fiberbeton delivered 2,300 bespoke GRC facade elements in 290 unique variants, corresponding to approximately 4,600 m² of unfolded GRC. The lightly matt surfaces with visible grey textures create depth and variation across the facade, while the 12 mm elements were mounted using embedded steel frames and brackets for a precise installation.

Nivy Station is located close to the Sky Park towers (another BB fiberbeton project), contributing to the transformation of Bratislava’s modern urban skyline.
