Known as Kronehaverne, the development at Ørestads Boulevard consists of eight buildings with a shared industrial architectural expression designed by Cobe ApS. Concrete, aluminium, and large glass sections define the facades, while green rooftop gardens soften the raw appearance and create shared outdoor spaces for residents.
The development combines private apartments, social housing, commercial spaces, and a daycare centre within one cohesive urban environment.
Five of the buildings, developed by AP Pension, achieved Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification, reflecting the project’s focus on responsible material choices and long-term environmental considerations.
BB fiberbeton delivered column and beam facade elements for all eight buildings. In total, more than 2,500 bespoke elements were produced across 96 variants, corresponding to approximately 5,900 m² of GRC. The 12 mm elements were produced in BBf no. 68 standard white with a lightly matt surface and mounted using recessed fixing points with matching plugs for a clean and consistent facade expression.

Using intelligent mould design and innovative production methods we can create custom GRC elements that seamlessly blend form and function.
